 Today in the US, close to 70,000 male couples are raising children under the age of 18. While these families are increasing in numbers and visibility, very little research has focused on their experiences. Both single and coupled gay dads are requesting information and advice about child development, child rearing, and parenting. Others are interested to learn from them about some aspects of their parenting that may be unique. We hope that the Lives of Gay Fathers and their Children study will shine some light on the diverse experiences of gay dads. If you are gay, a father, and living in the US, we want to hear from you!
